We’re counting on help from all of you to help make this year’s event successful.  Specifically, we need to fill 73 volunteer positions over the course of the two day event.  The positions are:

1st Annual Stevek Mogul Challenge
January 23-24, 2004

Bruce Bolesky's Opening Remarks

"I'd like to welcome everybody to what we now refer to as the Stevek Mogul Challenge or what we can call our special weekend. This competition is a tribute - a salute if you will to a man that for 23 years ran one of the largest, most successful and fun freestyle ski program in the country. Yes, Steve Kenney or Stevek as we all know him put his stamp on this competition annually making sure as many young mogul skiers as possible would have the opportunity to have a non threatening chance to test their skills on this awesome and challenging World Cup run with it's bumps and jumps. All of us who worked with him in the program, the parents, the saddened skiers, the members of the ski school, right through to the management of Stratton miss Stevek incredibly.  So perhaps the best the best way to celebrate our hero is to carry on-carry on Stevek's way-the fun way.  Today we dedicate this the new Steven G. Kenney Competition Arena.  So Stev we carry on in your honor."
