"In addition to the Allegro Program, membership in The Freestyle Ski Team (The Team) is available to all interested athletes. All participants in the Allegro program will receive the same coaching and instruction as they always have; however, The Team provides an additional level of training, and Team members may ski with a different set of coaches. Team membership is optional, and an additional fee will be charged for all participants who join the Team. This participation fee (not a coaching fee) allows us to run the coaching at a level that freestyle competitors require. It is important to note that an athlete does not need to compete in order to join the team: in addition to the more strenuous training, an important part of the Team is the social interaction with the group of Team Athletes. Generally, Team members are age 11 and older.

The level of participation and competition of each athlete determines the additional fee for the Team, which is as follows:

$970 for A’s (highest level of competition with lots of travel) $650 for B’s (high level of competition with limited travel) $490 for athletes who ski with the team but do not compete

For those not interested in joining the Team, the Allegro program will continue as in past years. The Team concept is simply an addition to the Allegro program, and will appeal only to a limited number of participants.

The Team Fee is payable to Stratton Corporation and is due prior to the first day an athlete skis with the team."
